Marcy Rudershausen is the founder of Raise A Dram Consulting, a boutique educational spirits agency, based in South Florida. For over 24 years, Marcy has been educating consumers, bar professionals and sales teams across South, Central and North America on the finer points of spirits, with a specialization in whisky. Marcy was one of the founding Senior Masters of Whisky for Diageo, creating a program that set the gold standard for whisky education and the Brand Ambassador in the United States.

In 2010, Marcy was recognized by the scotch whisky industry for her outstanding contribution to the industry by being inducted into Keepers of the Quaich. Marcy has served on the judging panel of the World Whiskies Awards/World Drinks Awards for eight consecutive years as well as the judging panels for Icons of Whiskey and World Class.

“My passion for whisky was handed down from my father and grandfather who were both whisky adorers. Conversations with my father while he sipped a whisky are some of my fondest memories.”

Marcy is a graduate of the University of Miami Theatre BFA program and The Burt Reynolds Institute for Theater Training. She is a Florida native and avid gardener who enjoys hosting friends and family brunches amongst the beauty of her tropical backyard. IG: @RaiseADram
